Through the years, Mike has taken an active role in the surrounding community. He is the current president of the Ventnor Uptown Merchants Association and organizer of the Neighborhood Watch Association.

In 2005, he organized and sponsored a Spin-a-thon, raising over $10,000 for the local chapter of Gilda’s Club.

For over 20-years, Mike was a member of the bicycle repair team for the Annual Maloney’s Bike-a-thon.

AAAA supports the Ventnor and Margate’s Recreation Associations through sponsorship and prize donations to youth programs including the basketball and soccer teams. Additional recipients of prize donations include the local kid’s fishing tournament and beach volleyball tournaments.

Supports the Baby Blue Foundation through participation in candy fundraiser. In 2005, AAAA donated a baby jogger to the Foundation’s online fundraising auction.

The surrounding communities, including, Atlantic City, Ventnor City, Margate City, Longport, North Wildwood, Avalon, Egg Harbor Township and Strathmere, all received a special Police department discount for their bicycle patrol officers. Additionally, the officers receive Park Tool Certification in bicycle repair.
